Cheryl Pasieka was raised in Ontario and moved to Alberta in her early twenties. Now retired, Cheryl spent the majority of her career in the field of Human Resources, a career that she loved and a career that taught her compassion for others and wanting to reach out and help.
Over the last four years, Cheryl was determined to make a change to her health, both physically and mentally. Just as she listened to a calling to go to addiction recovery, she also had a strong calling to write about her recent journey. Her goal is to reach out to others and inspire them to make changes in their lives towards a life of Pure Joy.
There is a small window of opportunity to show our compassion towards others during our lifetime, and Cheryl is choosing this path to perhaps make a small difference in other’s lives. She relies deeply on her spirituality and belief that those who have passed on from this life surround her and continue to guide her.
Cheryl is currently living in Edmonton with her spouse, Roger.
A powerful memoir of a recovery journey from alcohol addiction to a life filled with joy, and mindfulness. Cheryl has not only transformed her own life through her recovery journey, but is also following a calling to be vulnerable and share that journey in the hopes of helping others find a more meaningful and joyful life.
